Students study Somerset sand and water

6.2 Biologists recently returned from their four day field-trip in Somerset. They stayed at a beautiful stately home called Nettlecombe Park that is now run by the Field Studies Council. Included in the itinerary was a day on Exmoor sampling freshwater streams and a day on the Braunton Burrows sand dune system. The weather was more or less perfect throughout and a very productive time was had by all. View photos.
