National maths awards for Bedalians

About 40 Bedales sixth formers entered the UK Mathematics Senior Challenge. This is a very popular nationwide competition involving multiple choice problems of a mathematical nature. Top-performing students are awarded certificates and congratulations go to Joe Pemberton and Sam Wilkinson (Gold), Chihiro Hatakeyama-Hoddinott, Ed Glynne-Jones, Tim Jones, Felix Manley, Charlotte Mills and Elliot Robson (Silver) as well as Sebi Bacon, Sasha Bruml, Maddy Green, Charlie Laughton, Ori Lazar, Luke Liu, Angus MacLeod, Rufus Rock, James Topley and Albie Waterton (Bronze). Sam Wilkinson’s score earned him a place in the Senior Mathematical Kangaroo competition, which will follow in the near future. Well done and thank you to everybody who took part.
