Students experience rich culture in China

Over the half term break eight students along with Frances Vigars and Al McConville travelled to three of China’s major cities, Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. We visited the Forbidden City, Great Wall and the Terracotta Army before spending four days at Chuansha High School. For us spending time at the school in Shanghai was the most unique experience. All the students and staff were very hospitable and did a fantastic job organising visits in Shanghai. We thoroughly enjoyed our time; it was great fun bargaining in the markets and altogether very rich cultural experience. Read more. View photos.

Bedales School is one of the UK’s top independent private co-education boarding schools. Bedales comprises three schools situated in Steep, near Petersfield, Hampshire: Dunannie (ages 3–8), Dunhurst (ages 8–13) and Bedales itself (ages 13–18).
