Students enjoy early morning walk to Poet’s Stone

Bedales 6.2 and Block 3 students rose early last Saturday morning to take part in the annual walk to the Poet’s Stone, high up in the Hangers. The combination of oldest and youngest students, together with a good number of staff made for plenty of camaraderie, and setting off at 6.45am meant that we were walking through spectacular countryside at one of the best times of the day. As always the view from the top as we breakfasted was well worth the effort of the climb. The fact that we live in such beautiful surroundings is something that Bedalians do not always appreciate, and the walk once again was a timely reminder as we made our way back for the day’s first lesson.
