Books about Bedales and Bedalians

From time to time various books about Bedales are advertised on eBay and second-hand book websites. If you are considering buying one of these, please do get in touch with Jane Kirby, Librarian, as we still have stocks of some titles.  For a small donation to charities supported by the school (Swaziland and Cecily’s Fund) you can have what is essentially a brand-new copy. We have plenty of copies of three histories: Bedales School, The First Hundred Years, by Roy Wake and Pennie Denton; Irregularly Bold by James Henderson, and Boys and Girls (marking the centenary of co-education) by Avril Hardie. We also have a few copies of other books by former members of staff – please do ask.  View photos
