New teaching appointments

March is the time of year when schools traditionally announce their staffing changes for the new academic year. We are delighted to confirm the appointment of Louise Wilson as the new Managing Head of the Senior School and Deputy Head, Bedales Schools, to commence in September. Louise, currently a Deputy Head at Portsmouth Grammar, will be replacing Dominic Oliver, who leaves Bedales to take up the role of Headmaster at Lancing College. Also newly appointed to begin in September are Andrew Martin as Head of Outdoor Work (joining from Highfield) and Allen Shone, who has a Ph.D in Astrophysics, as Teacher of Physics and Maths (joining from Yarm School), to replace the retiring Peter Coates and Ransi Jayatissa respectively.
