Celebrate students’ achievements on Parents’ Day

This Saturday is Parents’ Day when parents are invited to celebrate students’ achievements and enjoy a day full of events and displays including a performance of Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queens, the Summer Concert, tennis, cricket, dance, music, a madrigal group recital, Bedales Art & Design 2014, the opening of the meditation hut and the opening of The Kadian Observatory. Department displays will include Outdoor Work, with bread and produce available to purchase, and there will be an exhibition of plans for the new Art & Design building. Mixed doubles tennis starts at 10am and the last event, the Summer Concert, begins at 6pm. Dance, Elegies for Angels, Punks & Raging Queens and the Summer Concert are ticketed (see booking info below in Coming Up). Bring a picnic lunch – cream tea provided plus the usual BPA Pimm’s tent.

Bedales School is one of the UK’s top independent private co-education boarding schools. Bedales comprises three schools situated in Steep, near Petersfield, Hampshire: Dunannie (ages 3–8), Dunhurst (ages 8–13) and Bedales itself (ages 13–18). Established in 1893 Bedales School puts emphasis on the Arts, Sciences, voluntary service, pastoral care, and listening to students’ views. Bedales is acclaimed for its drama, theatre, art and music.
